Mulan was so tired out after romping with some
doggy friends last night that she has been sleeping
most of the day.
I thought at first she was sick and then I realized
she was just tired.
She has been sleeping most of the Super Bowl.
I wouldn't mind missing the Super Bowl because I am
not a big football fan, but I would mind missing all the neat
commercials. So I was able to enjoy quite a few of them.
I have to give Mulan a bath before doggy classes tommorrow.
Wish me luck!

Good luck with the bath! Our guide dog organization doesn't give the dogs baths and doesn't want us to either. They say it is better for the dog's coat to not wash it very much. Even when the dog is really dirty, we let it dry and then brush the dirt off with a brush and comb. I used to wash my pet Labrador once or twice a year because her coat would get so oily that dirt would cling to the oil. But a good brushing fixes most things.
good luck!
p.s. In the "old days" of dog training dog shampoo stole the coat's natural oils, so their fur dried out. It became the belief that giving baths to dogs was bad. Now not so much and that's not just me - it's the top trainers of the U.S.!(although dry & brush does work well) My cocker tangles a lot & bath her often to keep her fur tangle free!(not that I don't brush her - I do) but she's a lot easier to if I bathe her. I don't know why I'm rambleing, or why I'm giving you random dog info - so I'll stop now!
