Isn't it amazing that dogs are born knowing how to swim?
Mulan tested her water legs for the first time yesterday. She had been interested
in our pool for a while so she must have gotten warm because she jumped
right in all by herself! We had a blast playing with her and swam for over
three hours. My sister and I are a little sunburned today.

Hi Candace,
My dogs LOVE water too. We always have lots of fun swimming together. I have been reading your blog about Mulan for quite a while now, but I think this is my first time leaving a comment. I just wanted to say that you are doing a great job raising Mulan. She sounds like a wonderful pup who, I know, will help make some lucky person's life so much better. :-)
Keep up the good work,

Kirby HATES pools! He'll wade in a lake or pond, but thats it. I've only seen him swim three times: 2x when he fell in my grandparent's pool and once at a lake when I went in with him. Turns out his mom's a "wader" too. Who knew?
